College of Kinesiology

The mission of the College of Kinesiology is to provide educational opportunities related to movement and health, provide leadership experiences through service and promote the total well-being of students; not only for a career, but for a lifetime. The College of Kinesiology is one of the fastest growing programs at Tarleton State University. When you take into consideration that this department is adept at providing groundbreaking educational opportunities related to movement and health, organizing leadership experiences through service and promoting the total well-being of students for a lifetime, the growth rate is not surprising. Bachelor's degrees are awarded that allow graduates to teach, coach, enter the allied health profession, recreation and the fitness industry. Gifts may be made to Kinesiology as well as Sport Science and Health & Human Performance. Other giving opportunities include the Laboratory for Wellness & Motor Behavior and the Dr. Wendell Sadler Distinguished Lecture Series in Kinesiology.
